I figured out when I was quite young that, when talking to other people, I could just jump ahead to the end of the conversation. Somehow I knew everything they were going to say throughout the entire dialogue.
Out of politeness, I would pretend I was still listening, but I already knew everything they were going to tell me. I can still do this. I spend most of my time pretending to listen to people. It's boring.
Can anyone else do this?

Lol actually I think I can do this but I am not always good at it. And impolite. So I'll actually jump ahead to the end of the conversation, and be wrong. So then I have to apologize, and let the other person go on and on. That's boring too, believe me. Plus you have to admit you were wrong, which is plain annoying.

Well I dont really care what they are saying. I dont usually like listening to people and only pretend out of politeness. I just pretend to listen and inject a uh huh oh wow no kidding when needed.

Maybe it's because the person was predictable?
Well, I'm barely there doing a conversation sometimes because I've heard the words somewhere else, most likely.
It's just boring, and I'm not a great listener-- I'm working on it!

Try speaking to people who are little bit more interesting, you're obviously chatting with people who state the blatantly obvious or maybe they talk about the only thing they think you're interested in! (e.g football or mice).

I can do it. But won't do it. It's pretty rude. And, you might actually miss something they say. It also assumes you know a lot more than you do.
