Thank you!!! Happy Thanksgiving to you too! I'm most definitely grateful and thankful for my friends and family also. But I'm thankful for a little more this year. My dad who is not doing very well (health wise) has come close to death several times over the past 10 years. This year was a ruff one and yet he is still with us. What is amazing is that he seems healthier than he has in the past 5 years. I'm truly thankful for that! I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day!

Yesterday I was out shopping w/ my 12 yr. old daughter and we seen a woman standing beside the road holding a sign that read, "Will Work For Food for My Family". I took $5 out of my purse and told my daughter to hand it to the lady. She ran over to my car and said "God bless you. Thank you so much.", and I told my daughter, "Always give in good faith. It's hard to not be suspicious or cynical, but it's so easy to remember how blessed you are." At that moment I was thankful to have a little money in my pocket to give to someone else, because these last few weeks have been pretty tough. "Thankfully", I have people in my life that have been there to give to me and mine during the lean times.
I'm thankful to have a home to share w/ my family. I'm thankful that we've never known the true pain of hunger. I'm thankful that no one I love has been touched by serious illness. I'm thankful that I still have everyone that's important to me for another season. I'm thankful to have been born in a land where I'll not be tortured or persecuted for whatever I choose to believe or for simply being a woman. I'm thankful to have married a man that I respect instead of fear. I'm thankful to have two perfect children . I'm thankful for a great many things, but mostly I'm thankful that I have a heart and spirit that is still "Thank Full". Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
