you can cancel at any time. your provider will charge you a cancellation fee. this normally works out nearly as much as if you kept the contract, but each network provider varies.

Unless you can prove a grievance against the network provider then sorry but you will have to pay for remaining months, can be done by lump sum now or just let it run as is for remaining period of contract then cancel it. Remember to give network provider 4-6 weeks notice and request they confirm notification received.

sky would usually charge you the remainder of your contract but obviously these are extenuating circumstances so they may be able to wave the fees for you (i have knows it to be done in the past) at the end of the day nobody can stop you from cancelling. im not sure about bt so you will have to call them but if you give sky a call on 08442 41 41 41 someone will be able to give you a bit more information about cancelling. hope this helps and good luck with the move if it goes ahead!

You jst call them and tell them you want to cancel. You will need to pay for the remaining months on your contract though.
If you do want to cancel then id recommend you downgrade to the cheapest package they have and then cancel so youll be charged less.

No you have to pay for the rest of the year. I wanted to change mine because I was getting a really bad deal with Orange so when I changed my name after spliting up with my husband and was moving address I decided to cancel my direct debit and they haven't found me!

Yes, but they might get you to pay for the rest of the contract, also I think it will be put on your credit rating as well, meaning it may lower it.

Yes, but you would probably have to pay a penalty, could be as much as the rest of the contract would have cost you.
