The main touristy areas on the West have clubs/bars etc. This is a late night party area (Ianappa being the main focus).
The East coast has Ibiza Town. This has lots of good shopping and eaty places. Very historical town. It also has a TV parade in the evenings. This is worth seeing. TVs from all over Europe spend a small fortune on dressing up and will walk around the main streets in the evening. A real bit of local colour and free entertainment.
There is a hippy commune that has been there since the 60s, but the locals are not too keen on this, although it is a good story. Overall, it depends what you want. The beaches are good, especially the German ones. Other than that, typical med island.

Ibiza's lovely. There's much more to it than clubbing. Lot's of hidden coves, nice bars and traditional restaurants.
Ibiza town is great for sitting back and watching the world go by (and some of the outfits).
If you want the clubs/bars go to the West End in San Antonio - If that's not what you're into, then the rest of the island has much more to offer. xx

As Ibiza is an island, which is a part of Spain, the natives speak Spanish over there and I´m sure they have their own dialect too!

For Clubs - If you like dance music & outrageous nights out then its great - You can "Have It Large" (whatever that means?)
For relaxing... watching the sun come up at cafe del mar is beautiful.
All in all Ibiza is a bit overrated but if you like that sort of thing then go for it!

I went to Portinatx in Ibiza which was beautiful. Very clean, beautiful beach set in a bay. Not all of Ibiza caters for clubbers - it depends what you want.

I haven't been since 2000, I thought it was an ideal place for people touching 40 more than a kids place, bit played out but if you want free, no-strings sex with a stranger, GO. I met my other half there (he's so not a slapper) unlike me. 6 years and still happy as a pig in shi t

I loved it.. and i went with my whole family.. if u want a quieter holiday i would recommend santa ulalia as a great resort, it has a lovely promenade with loads of cafes and shops, they also do these really cool sand sculpures.. eg a massive pirate ship with so much detail it looked real.. it was awesome!

shite the whole island stinks of farts - beaches, hotels, clubs etc
love clubbing but they were a huge disappointment - your better off going to london for the week way more choice and variety and probably cheaper.
I paid £33 quid to get into pacha and £37 quid for two drinks ! it was £8-9 for a bottle of water as well and it wasn't even cold v warm !
The music all sounded the same regardless of club or night no matter if we paid 0 - 45 euros ??
full of northerners and people pissing up sunbeds and off balconies ! and this was in san antonio bay !
best night was hed kandi at el divino
ps pacha in london is just as shite full of chavs and wanna be page 3 girls !
