When you change your method of contraception from a hormonal form to a non-hormonal form it can affect your period.

I have just come off the pill after using it for ten years, my period always lasted for 7 days but now it only lasts 2 days! Obviously my situation is good but yours isn't so good.

I asked my doctor about it and he said it was because of the hormone change and it would eventually go back to normal. I assume yours will also go back to normal, but because it is probably very annoying for you, maybe you should just go see your doctor now and see if he/she can do anything about. Although probably all they will suggest will be the contraceptive Pill.

Hope this helps somewhat

I was the same when I came off the injection you just have to give your body time to re-adjust but if you are worried go and see your G.P.

Oof - this must be tough for you.

Hormonal medication of any kind can mess up your periods big style.

Go and see your doctor for reassurance.
