gee ! i do believe it's the same thing UNLESS... you might be thinking about higher education & that's like college. there's elementary ed ( grades k-6, maybe 7 & 8). then there's middle school or intermediate school covering grades 6-8. last but not least is high school (called that 'cause once upon a time ago, all you really needed was grades k-8. anything beyond was fringe & referred to a high(er) school than required). high school covers 9-12. HIGHER education is now relating to college & go beyond that is grad school. get it? got it? good!
