The shuffle is a simple flash drive with an audio feature. This allows you to store songs as individual files and play them in order, or random selection.
The nano comes with a screen and allows you to see and select the songs without needing to conect to a pc. It will also allow you to play videos.

The difference is the nano can get cases, it has a screen, and it can save more music. The nanos are better. The shuffles don't have a screen, or a holder, and they save less songs. I know this because my mom has the nano and i have the shuffle.

The shuffle doesn't have a screen, and it doesn't have the functions that requires a screen that the nano has.

I have just bought the iPod shuffle, and the main difference I can see is that it is tiny and has a clip tht fixes to jeans / shorts / or whatever.

yea the nano has a screen so you can hold photos, play games, and pick what you want to listen to when you want it. with the suffle all you can do is listen to music but it picks which songs
