you don't need to get back. you need to teach this person how to treat you.
usually if you bring it to thier attention they will stop it. tell this person that you won't be talked to like that and that you don't talk bad to others and that you would appreciate the same.
go online and print out a copy of the laws regarding
" hostile work environment" and lay this on your desk or be seen reading it and it will probably shut your boss' mouth.
there are laws protecting you in these kind of matters.

Mine were all the time. Don't get anyone back. It doesn't work and will make you ill. Made me ill for 4 years after my tribunal. I wish you well.
