wot did u think of it. i went to see it and thought tat it was crap it was more romantic rather then a 007 movie and had no nice cars.........

Casino Royale is good for a normal movie watch. If you keep thinking and expecting a classic 007 style film then it is not upto the mark
Had the film being made as a ordinary movie without using the 007 legend then it would have been better

Not yet. I`m going to see it at the weekend, but I`m not looking forward a lot. I mean I really like James Bond and I`m a great fan of the serie, but there is just so huge excitement about Casino and Daniel himself, so seeing it seams just like a rutine now. I`m not against Craig, I`m even not madly in love with him, I`ve just seen him in few movies and they were all very good, so I think I like that guy at last. However it doesn`t mean I can`t imagine somebody better for the role. I hope it`ll be at least fine.

I haven't seen it yet, iv heard mixed reviews. I just found out that it's meant to be the first in the series... like how Bond becomes an 00. That explains the lack of gadgets and not enough cool cars!! (What i thought Bond films were all about!) I might go see it, not really sure though.

The original Casino Royale is still the best. Peter Sellers of Pink Panther fame was the original Bond in Casino Royale.

I saw it the other day! I enjoyed it and thought Daniel Craig was rather dishy but it just didn't match up to the oldies! I loved Sean Connery! There was something really classy about the original ones that this new one lacked! And I felt that 2 1/2 hours was just too long and some of the scenes were a bit dragged out!

yes i feel the same it was not that good the new jb is not as attractive as the previous bonds im a guy and i mean that in a mature hetrosexual way he lacks the style and smoothness and he is very carless those are not characteristics that i would associate with james bond. And the scene where he falls in love is just ridiculous not very professional especially in his line of work. He did have a nice car the astin martin dbs but i think the producers tried to keep it basic invisible cars are not realistic.

The collection men were either all shot or drowned and the case of money sank to the bottom of the grand canal, but the boss of that "firm" (it's like Eastenders, isn't it) is the one with the villa on the Italian Lake that Daniel Craig visits at the end and shoots in the leg. I'm assuming they will bring him into the next Bond film.

Entirely too predictable.
Was there anyone who didn't know that the terrorist at the airport had the detonator on his back? Was there anyone who didn't know the bond girl had to die? Was there anyone who didn't know that Bond had to lose the $10 million bet (otherwise, why a rebuy?)
As Bond flicks go... Yawn!
(And wasn't it miraculous that in THIS movie, you can spray jet fuel all over the airport, shoot holes in the truck, smash through other vehicles and nothing goes *poof* ?)

yeah, i was dissapointed at this one. he didnt have as many funny sayings and he fell in love. ugghh. he normally makes out wit them and yeah thats it. he doesnt fall in love. also i miss the gadgets and bulletproof cars etc. and i really miss Q and his funnyness. i also didnt get the ending. this one was kinda confusing b/c in all the older ones there is normally one big bad guy and thats his target. i couldnt tell who the main bad guy was. and in this one he doesnt use his sharpshooting skills as much in this one. though i sorta liked the begining wit the jumping around and stuff. i didnt like M either b/c she was sorta rudeish and not like funny and whatever like the old bond movies. i miss her old ways. if you know what i mean. if they make another one i hope it will be better. but of course this was like the first one or w/e and how he became a 00. so yeah i sorta expected it.

I saw it I loved it can;t wait for the next one......
Most people knew this movie was the first film where we meet him find out what makes him tick. & I never found this to me a romantic film...
