No direct involvement in creating Stalin. Indirect involvement because the US refused to help the anti-bolsheviks. Complete ignorance of Stalin's murderous methods of controlling his own people. Direct involvement in keeping Stalin in power- individually by "liberals" and commies and nationally by credits and supplies both before, during and after WW2. Complete acceptance of Stalins policies after WW2. I should know- I'm from Poland.

No direct involvement in creating Hitler. A perfect example of what good comes out of isolationism and "it ain't really our business" attitudes. Considerable involvement in getting rid of Hitler.

Very large involvement in creating Mao. The US forced the reformist Changkaishek government to share weapon supplies with Mao during the fighting against the Japanese- even though Mao's people were not doing much of the fighting. Complete cut off of support to Changkaishek after WW2 and ignorance of massive russian weapon supplies to Mao- which included tanks and aircraft. Support of the application of Mao to replace Chang as the recognised representative of China in the UN (Chang was a founding member- fat lot of good it did to his cause)
As a thank you, the US got the Vietnam war and the Korea war, not to mention the occupation of Tibet.
A perfect example of liberal politics in foreign affairs.

BTW the guy running US policies in China was a russian spy. One of those "witches" that McCarthy was trying to find, and was purposefully prevented from finding. I bet you never hear of this in history classes about the "McCarthy era".

none for Starlin Russia wasn't us sphere of influence
Hitler quite a bit, the USA undermined the league of nations and us isolationism made it clear the USA would not fight the Nazis. the USA gave every encourage meant to Hitler by passing laws forbidding us citizens from fighting the Nazis. when London lost 40 000 people in bombing raid the USA , still refused to join the brave french English and commonwealth. the us commitment for support was such that it did not join the allies until it was attacked, the usa's behaviour was cowardly, moraly repugnant and shameful
