In the first place, the person is not a banker. The person that talks on the phone to Noel Edmonds on the show, is the reclusive American writer and poet, Linda J Cirillo, who I have been told, is actually talking from New Hampshire.
The reason why she is used is that she is one of Americas most famous recluse and on the day of Tom Cruise's wedding, where she was a guest, she did the show in the castle's bathroom. The fact that her picture is not known, means she makes a lot of money to do this show. And as natural, she DOES know where all the money is in each box.

get real this is television there is no banker do you think the producers are going to pay someone to play a disembodied voice, when are you going to realise that most show s like this are to a greater or smaller extent fixed.Its entertainment!!!
