No. You should have had sex on the 8th. And, this was your last chance. Oh well.

No, but implantation can cause mild spotting which wouldn't even require a pad or tampon. The question is how heavy was your "period" on October 20? If it was heavy-it could have been an early period and you would likely not have another on on Nov. 3. If it is now Nov 23 and you haven't had a period since October 20, over a month has passed and you could be pregnant as a result of having sex this month-or you could just be having a longer cycle.

If you were pregnant and had bleeding, it could have been pregnancy associated bleeding, threatened miscarraige or miscarraige. The best thing to do is to take a pregnancy test.

A true period is a result of the egg failing to fertilize. When implantaion occurs the egg attaches itself to the endometrium. If you shed your endometrium during your period, you shed any pregnancy along with it.

To answer your question more simply-no you can not have a period and have successful pregnancy.

P.S. People who say you can have a period during pregnancy are misinformed. It is not called a period, it is called pregnancy associated bleeding which if heavy, in many (but not all) cases is a sign of miscarriage. A true period is menstruation caused by a hormonal reaction to lack of implantation of a fertilized egg. That is a fact.
