I had this condition and could hardley move at 8 months. When the midwife felt to check how dilated I was in labour I screamed so loud that I thought it was someone else yelling. Is this due to the SPD?

not necessarily. I had that too. Any contact with the cervix can be very uncomfortable, remember your smear tests?
However you should tell your midwife you have SPD so that they know how far apart your legs can go apart comfortably

Must be. SPD is when the pelvis gets inflamed and can be really really painful. I've heard of women hobbling round on walking sticks while suffering from SPD.

I've never heard of anyone (without SPD) screaming in pain when they were checked for dilation. I had a check yesterday and it hurt a bit but nothing near bad enough to make me scream. But then I don't have SPD.

Could be, but I am very healthy and I screamed very very loud when they checked me when I was having my son and again with my twins. It hurts. I have had no other health issues or pain at any other time but then. I hated labor
