Direction of Magnetic fields are in North To South direction
In a circular ring magnet, the direction is Clockwise in N-S Direction

Perpendicular to plane of circle . Direction will depend upon which direction current is flowing whether this clockwise of counterclockwise. Use right hand thumb rule . Encircle your four finger around the the field thumb will show you the direction of magnetic field .

The direction in which the magnetic lines will be stronger the magnet will attract to that direction.
