Try spraying well with WD40
and try with yet another key

failing that
i would get a double glazing firm to replace the catch .
good luck

don't pay a cowboy fee for someone to replace it - see if someone in the family is handy and get them to pop down the hardware store (small independents are cheaper and will offer better service) taking the unscrewed catch with them - they may advise on safe and secure refixing at a fraction of the cost and inconvenience!

This occurred to me when I locked myself out of my room, regrettably there became into no window that became into openable. a minimum of she is out, this is the sturdy element. ok in case you may get out in the process the washing room window you will be waiting to get returned in precise? There could be screws seen on between the facets of the door. Unscrew the door cope with thoroughly and get rid of it, this could artwork. I did it to alter the realm on the lock of my mattress room door. If this does artwork you could take it to a locksmith or get a clean door cope with, if it does have a lock there could be a key with it. in case you dont think of any of that's available get a locksmith in ASAP.
