I find cold refreshing, water and air. I love the smell of rain, I think it is very refreshing as is standing in the rain. Honesty is also something I find a refreshing change.

"Literally" refreshing: Going for a long hack on my horse - I feel rejuvinated when I get back to the stables, it's wonderful.
In a different way, but also very refreshing is when: Strangers smile at me in the street. I love that, when people just smile at you for no reason, without even knowing you. It somehow makes everything seem better.

Showers are refreshing. I'll bet someone has already said that, but I feel like crud, if I don't get my shower.

Waking up on a Saturday morning and having my children run and jump in my bed to get me up...they are so giggly (they are girls 5 & 7). I adore my children, nothing anymore refreshing then pure innocence.
