Simply because it is P.C and in the Governments interests to have us all supposedly in harmony to benefit capitalism generally, when in fact it is unnatural. Multicultualrism is'nt working.

Let me answer your question with a question: Why do we see more and more brown faces everywhere?
Remember TV lives by the grace of advertisers and advertisers cater to the market. If the market contains more and more people of a particular group, more and more advertisement will be designed to appeal to that group.

Why not? It's about time advertisers realised that not everyone is white, married, in their 30s, lives in the South and has a mortgage and 2 kids.

This is Government Poicy to get acceptance on minority population. They do the same with Scottish and Irish news presenters. Its all to do with presenting Positive and acceptable images to the general public.

Because the world is going global and "brown faces" outnumber white faces. The "brown faces" reflect reality. I think it's great .

because there are more brown faces on our streets,and they reprosent a persentage of the population of the uk.so the more you see in the street the more you'll see on tv.
