Somewhere in the Cotswolds would be good if your looking for a romantic setting, there's loads of small towns and villages to explore, Moreton in the Marsh, Stow on the Wold, Chipping Norton and Broadway are just a few to start with.

You could come to Swansea (where we live). Lovely beach, loads of shops, places to eat out, clean sea air, much cheaper than london. Good train and road links. 1 hour from Cardiff Airport. Birthplace of Catherine Zeta Jones, Anthony Hopkins and the poet Dylan Thomas.

Are you coming over from France? If so, and you are coming by Eurostar how about getting off at Ashford International (in Kent) and staying in Kent somewhere? Canterbury is a lovely place...

if you are looking for a romantic week without alot of noise try going to the south west of england. (devon, cornwell etc...) it is very quiet with beuatiful countryside but still with nice things to do. me and my boyfriend go down there when we want to get away together, we really enjoy going for walks in the country and seeing the wildlife

Try Edinburgh, Glasgow or Stirling in Scotland. There is plenty to do in all of them. Dress up warm though!
