Most songs are around 3-5 megabytes. You should be able to get 50-75 songs on there.

It depends on the quality of the mp3 and on the length of a song. How many songs can you fit on a 72 min Audio CD? It depends. But on the average put a megabyte for every minute of playtime. So for a 256Mb of free space (actual size is around 240, when formatted), you get around 240 minutes of play time. Which is around 60 songs if they're all 4 mins long. But that is way to general :)

Depends on the length of the song. When you download songs from the Internet it usually tells you how many mb's each song will take. Just add it all up.
