different colors have different wavelengths and temperatures, white light has a very high temperature but a fairly low wavelength, Blue has a low temperature but a fairly high wavelength, therefore the inventor of Bluetooth technology chose the color Blue for the interface led due to its relatively low bandwith, temperature and wavelength......it allows for a short distance high speed transmission without much interference from other light sources.
