I cant imagine it is? Parasites and Bacteria in raw meat can cause all types of problems cant it?

So raw Kangaroo Tongue or Gonads are less prone to cause problems than an underdone Chicken Burger???? really????!!!!???? Id be surprised! What about live insects etc?

Certain meat is fine raw. Steak tartar for instance is a dish made of raw chopped fillet steak. Bacon and certain other meats can also be eaten raw. Also, there are ways of preparing meat and fish that effectively 'cooks' it with no heat.
Also, bear in mind that they don't tend to feed highly dangerous foods to televised celebrities! Thats why they are not eating underdone chicken burgers, or reheated shellfish!

Are you all naive. What you see is not real and the "celebraties" are only taking the piss. The whole thing is a fix. How do I know? A guy lives two streets from us and his sisters boyfriend's uncle, works in Australia as a carpenter on the jungle set and he assures us that when the "celebs" are off camera, they eat proper food. Dont you see the make up they have given Gadid Gest/ Brilliant.
The whole thing is a big con and it is surprising how people have not cottoned on yet. The amount of money they make from phone calls, is staggering. I actually think they should ban the show as it is all one big CON.

I would imagine they have to adhere to high safety standards, it wouldn't be such good publicity for the programme if a celebrity were to die, as entertaining as that might be, and none has been ill yet. That said you wouldnt get me to eat that stuff!!

I honestly can't see them risking any bad publicity for the sake of a trial, must be safe.

I wondered that myself... Maybe they just don't expect them to actually be eaten... Anyway I'm sure if any of the 'celebrities' got sick out of it they'd get a huge pay-off!

It must be because all the animals that they have to touch or whatever aren't dangerous they just might nip you.
