Primarily because there has been a continuous barrage of negatives about him, the war, the hurricanes, anything that does not go right is his fault..Not even taking the time to hear any of the good news.. like they are still living and there have been no further attacks on our country. But there will be eventually and all the negative adherents will blame that on Bush too.. not even realizing they have given encouragement to the terrorist or, intentionally have done it. Why they want the US to lose the war on terrorism is beyond belief or any logical thinking.

in reality, bush is not an idiot. he is an extremely unethical, money grubbing politician in the worst sense of the word. his political advisor, karl rove, is one of the most corrupt advisors ever to serve a president. the entire administration, including cheney, has only one purpose: to serve big business at the expense of the average american. in the process, we now have the largest deficit ever, with no end in sight. we are stuck in a quagmire called iraq. bush created a nightmare when he (illegally) invaded iraq, and there is no way out that will keep iraq from erupting into a civil war, and eventually returning to a dictatorship. in the process, bush has created the worst international vision of the united states in its history. the list could go on and on. if bush were only an idiot, we would be in much better shape.

Because he oftentimes says things that make him appear to be...shall we say...less than intelligent. Because his foreign policy, particularly in the Middle East, has largely alienated our allies. Because he smirks when he's saying something meant to be serious, giving the impression that he finds some small humor in others' misfortune. I could go on, but you get the idea. But cheer up, folks, there's a presidential election in 2008 and, so far, no member of the Bush clan has emerged as a potential candidate. It appears our long national nightmare may soon be over.

He suffers from chronic foot in mouth disease. There have been several books written on "Dubyaisms", times when he has blown a line in a speech or said something ridiculous. That make him come across as being not the brightest bulb in the box.
I don't think he's an idiot, just a horrible president.

I think it is because they have swallowed what some unsavory others have fed them. It has become a fad, this Bush Bashing. I think a lot of people don't even think about it, they just do it because daddy, boyfriend, or best friend is saying it. Honestly.
