I bought a pair of nudie raw denim jeans a few weeks ago, and was instructed not to wash them for at least 6 months so that the natural wear and tear of everyday use would allow them to become the jeans they should with unique markings etc etc.

However, I was caught in a heavy heavy downpour whilst walking home from school and I was soaked; thus, so were my new jeans.

Will I no longer be able to achieve the desired effect?

Thanks.

I believe that you're not supposed to wash them because when you do, the dye is just sort of 'set in' (if you will)...or it just kind of spreads over the entirety of the garment

Well...not necessarily...just put them in the wash and then the next six months wear them so that they get the 'natural wear'
