Some good mantra's that I have always used in these situations are:

1. The best revenge is success.
- this change is merely that a change, and all changes are uncofortable, and it may take many months to see the benefits of the break up. Use this time to do things that will be rewarding, work out, read, spend time with yourself and get to know yourself again, not who you were for him.... but who you love to be.

2. His actions and what he thinks/says about you; say nothing about you, but everything about him. He chose this, you did not in anyway influence or cause this to happen. There are alot of ways to deal with relationship stressess, unfortuanatley this is the way he deals with his.... It says alot about the person "he is" at the sametime saying nothing of the person you are.
Don't let this define you, let it define to you- Who he is. When you feel the enemy suggesting maybe you weren't enough or didn't measure up, put that voice out of your life.

You are experiencing grief and loss. There is no fast way to heal from this. Everyone has their own process and it works for them. Your body and soul will do what they need to get through it. You can seek counseling if you like. That helps. There is a type of therapy called E.M.D.R. that is faster than most. Try this link to see what it is:

It really works. I have done it a couple of times.

Feeling rejected is common but unnecessary.
He did not reject YOU. He chose another path for his life. You naturally feel hurt because you thought you both would be on the same path forever. His loss of you should make you feel sorry for him and even pity his life choices...but no need to feel badly yourself. Best of luck to you!
