Yes, I like them depending on how the rails are shaped. Some have a very gentle rock, some don't. The ones that don't always seemed to be a waste to me.

Yes, on a porch in front of a little cabin somewhere in the Blue Ridge Mountains, with nature all around me, a peaceful place.
Other than that, yeah I get sick from the motion pretty quickly.....

Ha! I love rocking chairs!
They should make mechanical rocking chairs so you could put your feet up and it would rock automatically.
hot chocolate, rocking chair and a blanket next to a fireplace on a cold day. umm love winter cuz of it.

My computer chair always rocks unless my streaming audio is playing crap like White Stripes and Nirvana like it is now.Its rocking again,i found Maiden.They dont make me sick at all....
