i think you mean awol and i think prob because he has decided to come out its likes release for him he can now do what he couldnt before and whats wrong with going to gay bars, clubs etc and hanging round with "that crowd" as u so kindly put it! how else is he gonna get laid!? just let him enjoy it all it seems to me you are feeling left out so why not join him there and meet his new friends they can be ur friend too, you have something in common and thats your friend.

He's probably just trying to become the person he expects gay people to be, and trying to fit in with his new crowd of friends... It often happens that when one best friend finds a new crowd they start becoming distant... You have to show him you support him, and that may mean getting to know his new friends, posssibly going to some of the gay clubs with them, just to show you're up for a laugh like the rest of them.

Try asking him what is up with his life. Maybe he wants to be accepted and loved. Going to clubs is only experimenting, so don't worry too much. Just try to be there for him so he can have someone to talk to. The club scene can get gritty, so he'll appreciate having a good friend there for him.

this is a unique learning curb for u in life. remember 2 stay true to your friend ,but also to stay true 2 yourself. learn to b honest with him about how u feel and compromise the places where u both go 2. remember 2 take each person u meet for themselves and not 4 the face value, or the culture/social group that they come in.

Go to the gay clubs with him and let him know you fully accept him and can stillbe friends and part of his new lifestyle. Else, let him know how un-friendly he is being
