In general both are earth signs and tend to get along well. My mother is a virgo, my father is a taurus. They separated. That is because of the conflicts of their particular charts though. So, it really depends on all the factors-mars, venus, saturn, the moon, the nodes....
Virgo women...they put up with a lot of 'crap' to say the least, tending to ignore the problems...same goes for people with virgo rising signs...
