I fail to understand how/why/what makes the new reporters and editors say that National Muslim League is secular.
Here's the reason:
Vaniyambadi: 29th May 2002 National Muslim League has fielded Aroop Nawaz; he is supported by Congress, TMC and the Communist parties. Though Aroop Nawaz may split the votes, he is unlikely to have any significant impact on Nagore Hanifa's prospects.
I don't mind helping you read between the lines --
From the above paragraph - Muslims are supported by communists .... (1)
Prannoy Roy is Bengali .... (2).
Bengal loves to remain in poverty but doesn't want to loose its communist image .... (3). Calcutta is world famous for stinking neighborhoods and gross poverty. People ride in hand pulled rickshaws (how un-human ).
Now, Mr Roy owns a big news/media channel and has a good reputation which he has built from news hours dated back to the doordarsan monopoly era .... (4).
From (2) and (3) it can be inferred that Mr Roy is communist. Because democratic governments are by the people and from the people. .... (5)
Correlating (5) and (4), the news channel has to support communist ideas to some extent. Because anyone generally don't want to upset the boss .... (6)
Correlating (6) and (1), since the media doesn't and cannot support communism to a big extent they support Muslims. Hence Proved.

The difference between Castes, Religions, etc are manmade. it originated in an era when the priestly class started exploiting the common man and started living-off their earnings. Gullible people still listen to those parasites and fight against one another in the name of non-existing heaven and hell and things like. This difference will end only when we all realize the futility of fighting one another.

Casts are very large families with different backgrounds. They don't necessarily worship a different God. Two different casts may share the same religion.
