A vasectomy is a form of birth control for men. The tubes that carry the sperm from the testicles to the prostate (the two vas deferens) are divided, resected, or clamped, to block the sperm from getting into the semen.
Many of the facts patients really need to know about vasectomies are not available to them. There are many controversies regarding vasectomies. There is not enough publicity about vasectomies, their side effects, and not enough research is being done about vasectomies.

Vasectomy is procedure done to hinder male fertility. A small incision is made in the pelvic region and the two vas deferens are cut and tied off or they are cauterized (burned). The vas deferens are tubes that transport sperm to the penis.

DA stop giving false information. Thay do not clip the balls in fact it is a much more simpler procedure than a woman getting her tubes tied it's an outpatient thing. they just cut the tubes that help get sperm to the semen and the guy may need some ibuprofen for the rest of the day

It is an operation to cut or tie off the tube that carries sperm from the testicles to the penis. It means that a man can still have sex but when he ejaculates no sperm will be in the fluid, thus helping to prevent pregancy. It is not 100% effective.
