Most of the people prefer Intel as their first choise. Just curious to know why.

because intel is best and better than amd

I have used both Intel and AMD. I have found AMD to be better value for money in terms of speed, however Intel tends to be more reliable and it does not heat up that much. This is important if you want to keep the noise level down. Many people (including me) prefer a quiet and more reliable system than a faster system.

It's all preference. AMD is just as good. The only thing remotely bad that I've ever heard about AMD is that they can overheat, but I've never heard of any AMD's blowing. If you are concerned about that, make sure you put heat sink on the processor and you'll be fine. AMD is a little cheaper anyway.

Because the amount of hea generated by Intel processors are bvery much less compared to the other processors.
