I did not think it was that good. Too long for a start. And I thought it was going to end about 5 times before it actually did. Maybe that is a good thing. Man when he is on that chair and he is getting hit by that thing whatever it is in the b*lls. Man that was nasty.

I thought it was great! A good change from the last couple that rely more on graphics and futuristic gadgets. A real hard hitting back to basics bond; just what they needed. I did think the slightly longer start was right though with the film showing how he became 007, so there was some justification to having it. I do agree the ending did seem to go on a bit.. I'm going to have to see it again soon. Loved the poker, stunts and the new gritty Bond character.

NO! Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace are a new franchise. It's is from when Bond has just been made an agent.

It was a but plodding, I'm not a big James Bond fan or even a movie buff to be honest but I did kind of like the ending. Sort of explains (not justifies) why he's always been a bit of a mysoginist. I didn't like the fight scenes, maybe because I was full of the free Baracadi's that the club next door had given me, but I felt each fight scene was disorientating, almost like the camera man from Blair Witch had taken over. It was probably trying to be too realistic and gritty, like a Frank Miller comic (the guy who did Sin City.) I didn't find it particularly funny, but the rest of the audience did and my mates (big 007 fans) seemed to love it. I'm a real cynic of so I suppose the fact that I din't hate it means its probably quite good for the rest of you non-cynics.

Yep - too long. Too much yakking and not enough arsekicking. Though apparently they wanted to make it more like the book. Must say I prefer Bond films that end in blowing up some evil-doer's secret headquarters.

I thought it was cool, I love the poker scene, not the best bond movie, but not the worse, only time will tell if Daniel Craig is good.

I have seen it twice and planning for a third time. I really loved and Daniel Criag is just brillant.
