Assuming your PC is equipped with a sound card, it should have the jack plug outputs for speakers on the rear. You will need external speakers (powered or unpowered) which will plug into this output.

Alternatively, if your PC had a headphone output on the front, you can plug your speakers into that.

Speakers connect to the back of your computer on the sound card. There should be roughly around 3 jack plug sockets.
The monitor just displays the image.

I guess that means your PC doesn't have a Sound Card (PCI type) installed in its PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) slots, somewhere on its Motherboard.
You'll have to buy one and install it. The process will involve removing one of several metal panels on the back of your PC so that the jacks of the Sound Card can stick out to the reach of your speaker plugs.

Good luck.

Only recent monitors of LCD types have audio speakers outlet and even not all of them,,The usual way for audio to be listened is via a sound card ,,either integrated onto your motherboard or you may buy one and insert it onto one of your PCI slot found on your motherboard,,then install its driver,,which is on CD that comes with your sound card
