I am due for my period today and this morning tested and had a faint line. Very faint to where I might be worried it was an evaporation line. I have not had any symptoms since I ovulated only cramping once in awhile which for me is very unusual. I am worried because I ovulated on Nov 6th and feel that if I am pregnant I should have a much stronger line and not a faint one. Has anyone been in this situation and gotten a positive a couple of days later. Also I have had a lot of white discharge which I never get prior to my period.

Honestly, if you have a line, even faint, you probably are pregnant. My line was pretty faint and I only took one test and my son is now 7 months old. I had extra white discharge too (if you're pregnant, get used to it, body fluids up while your pregnant and I had increased discharge throughout). No matter how faint the line is, if it has a line that says you're pregnant, you probably are. You can take another test in a week, but I tested a week after my period and just had a faint line for the positive. Congratulations!

WHAT THE....? When I was diagnosed with Bipolar, I was interviewed extensively by a panel of physicians and was given my results a few weeks later. Cat scan? Blood work? It makes no sense! Did she even put you on meds and explain the condition thoroughly?! Look, everything that you have been dealing with for the past while is just awful. And it seems to be contributing to your depression. I can't diagnose you, but I think you need either a second opinion or a third. Now she may be very competent. And Bipolar can be difficult to diagnose...but you are seemingly not being treated just yet. And you are feeling awful! You needn't go to a school councillor if it intimidates you...but you definitely need more attention and care. And you need to feel safe and understood, and feel like you are being given the best information possible. I say go to her with a list of concerns and questions. You know yourself the best. She is obviously confused too. I NEVER had a cat scan done. I don't understand why you need to go for blood tests to find out the truth. Arggg! I'm sorry that this is so stressful for you. I'm sure it will all work out. The health system obviously has its problems, but you deserve some answers. All the best xoxo and please be kind and safe with yourself.

As I was told, a line is a line. I think you are! And don't worry about that rude comment from peaches, some people are rude and ignorant. I did hear that discharge comes with pregnancy. Wait a few days and test again. I hope you get the results that you want and Happy Thanksgiving!

Congratulations!
I had the same experience. On my first postitive test, the line was so faint that I thought I was maybe just thinking wishfully. Try again early morning in a day or two; you'll see a darker line then!
I'm excited for you!

I am Never Amazed at the questions that are asked in this forum. Medical questions, for heavens sake. Do you really think you can get accurate advise on a medical question here? This is what to do, see your family doctor, the White Discharge you have is probably "vaginitis" a very common female infection (virus). With treatment, it will clear in a few days. As far as the "test" goes, do it again, be sure. You might have an out of date kit. The discharge your experiencing could have altered the results. Now go to your doctor and get a RX for that "white, sticky, discharge", and take better care of yourself as too many vaginal infections lead to serious problems for the woman reproductive organs. I am curious, how old are you? and Where is Your Mother in all of this?
