A good way to understand colours is to look at a colour wheel, if you type that in a search engine one will probably come up..it explains complementary colours and stuff like that.
I would have thought that most colours go with denim. I wouldn't go for grey in case the whole outfit end up washing you out, what about purple? black? patterned tops?

Personally I think ANY colour goes with denim - how about white or would that look too washed out? My Mum says red is good as it livens denim up.

Artists would choose a complementary colour to give a pleasing effect. The complementary to denim would be a terracotta type colour.

Demin is great, because you can play with any colour with them... adding accessories like belts, clips and chains to match...
try a dusky grey this season, then change as fashion seasons change.

ok... jeans go with everything... but if you need particular one... natural colors... or red or white... and burgudee (how ever u spell it)
but denim goes with everything possible from pink to orange and from green to purple...
