I pierce ears professionally at an accessories store...your ear will heal after 6-8 weeks depending on your own body. You can change it after that but you can not wear hoops for 6 months.

Usually around 6 to 8 weeks but make sure to put vaseline on your ears when changing your earrings so you wont get an affection and a nasty rash

If you clean your ears every day, it would be safe in six weeks. However, if you don't, DO NOT try it until maybe four months after. It will infect your ears.

I think it varies from individual to individual!
Usually you can change after the swelling has gone down and it has stopped pussing.
