My little boy is taking a photo of the baby's daddy as he wants him to grom up like him. My daughter is tkaing a toy animal to show that she wants him to like animals, my husband a bottle of wine to show maturity.....

what about writing the baby a letter about what he means to you, and what your cousin's family mean to you, and what you wish for him in his life. its something he can have for the rest of his life and read when he needs cheering up. something personal that shows more thought. then your family can all sign it . . .

A silver plate with his name and birthdate engraved on the bottom.
I am an American that moved to the Middle East, and I have had many Indian friends that have their plate from birth, or thier first birthday, until present time. They eat off the same plate each meal. Its a cultural thing, and I know that you and I would not consider this. BUT, the thought of the plate, always having bountiful and appreciated food on is, symbolically seems unique and nice. Maybe even a cup. A mall shop calledThings Remembered in the states offer some cool gifts like this, and do the engraving on site. Just an idea. Oh what about what I just saw on line.... name a star after him. I think very cool idea. Go to star naming site and explore it. good luck.

Give him a good version of the Oxford English Dictionary. All the words he'll require to get through life will be found in there and he should never be lost for words.

you could desire to purchase her a stunning locket and have it engraved on the interior and upload a image of the three of you, taken on the day. it may desire to sound somewhat previous college, and who is familiar with what the style would be whilst she grows up, yet she could desire to the two positioned on it as a charm on a bracelet or on a chain whilst she is older. Lockets are consistently a reminder of happy activities in circumstances previous and so by no ability somewhat look out of place.

How about a bush/tree/sapling? That could signify that you want him to grow up tall, strong and healthy.
