ayurveda was not borb in a day,the ayurvedic doctors are taught the human system ,hoe it functions and when malfunction happens i.e. stomachacke,the doctor comes to know iether you have eaten something which you were unable to digest or what exactly is not functioning properly that the acke has come.it is very broad system of medicine for centuries,what goes wrong in the human body and what problem it creates

by doshas-vaata,pitta and kapha.can be elicited in the radial artery by putting threee fingers beneath the thumb one centimeter away. in additon u have got ashtasthaana pareeksha-8 tests-skin,voice, urine and stools. eyes etc., then the follwing r seen for nidhaanam to find out curable, incurable or palliative- desam, dooshyam, kalam, balam,prakritheem and vayaha. these three doshas mentioned r in threee stages subtle,physical andphysiological. physician can say the life of a patient ie.,when he will die. this is called rishtanidhaanam. he cn say how far the doshaas has affected the dhaatus= rasm-chyle, raktham-blood, mamsam-flesh, methus-fat and sukram-semen. if dhaatus r damaged the cure is impossible-but doshas can be equalised or eliminated. these r ll found by him as per nidhaanaa-diagnoses, pragrupa-origin, upasayam-treatment. it is very vast =not explainable inthis column. contact an acharya in aurvedam and get enlightened
