Hmm. They say the best thing is to get back to your "normal" weight if at all possible, and to wait until the baby is a year old to give your body time to completely recover.
That being said, I'm a size 14, had a baby 4 mos ago, and am back to a size 14. I don't think it's fat (I'm 5-9). Most women put on an average of 5 permanent pounds after each baby, so, if it's really important to you, you MAY want to wait to lose the weight if you're concerned about going back down to where you were. But if you're not terribly concerned, and think you'll get to whereever you want (be it a size 10 or size 14) afterward, why not do it? It could be more annoying to FINALLY get to whatever target you have only to get pregnant again. :-)
Remember, some marginally "larger" women are just as healthy as skinny women if they've a good diet and exercise regularly. Marilyn Monroe was a size 14, if that's any consolation ;-)

The average dress size in the UK is 16. So no, I'd say not, but depends on how you fell about it. If you are uncomfortable at this size, start a healthy eating regime and take a bit more, steady exercise. Having a child is big comitment and if you feel ready for a second, then go for it. If not have some chill out time before you get even more tied up with two children.

did you work out while you were pregnante with your last child? When i had my first i went from a size 9 juniors to a 13 and had gained 50 lbs, but didn't work out until after i had her. I got down to a 11 before i got pregnante with my second and only gained 22 lbs and 3 weeks after he was born was right back in my normal clothes. The difference was that i worked out every day, i watched what i ate, drank a load of water and took care of myself the entire time i was preganante. As far as the fat question, it depends on your body frame, my sister used to be a 14/16 and she looked so beautiful, she is now a 4 and looks very sickly. It's the same with myself, after i get to a certain size i go from looking healthy to sickly. If you want the truth, go ask people who have known you for a long time.

u shudnt go by sizes as it affects ur self esteem that ur not matching wot the "ideal size" is - u shud try going by how u feel wen u wear ur clothes, if they feel confortable then great...if not, then do summin about it...
congrats for trying for another baby good luck...
p.s. the weight u've probably gained from ur pregnancy will help ur second baby cos ull b rushing around with ur first n if ur anything like my mum, putting my an my brother's needs first n u dont eat well at the right times, the weight will plummet off u cos ur using ur "fat stores" first if u wanna call it that, so its naturally dieting not using fad diets that will make u put the weight back on when u come off it...

length 14 - sixteen isn't fat. the guy who suggested that the better shrink of being curvy is length 12 is incorrect! even with the undeniable fact that's does rely on how toned you're...you would recognize while you're fat or no longer when you consider which you have got a brilliant sort of fat on your physique, extremely than basically an even bigger shape. as long as you experience you seem dazzling thats all that concerns, in no way experience forced to unfastened weight do it when you consider which you prefer to. additionally only concentration on being a healthful weight which isn't denoted by your outfits length... artwork out your BMI as an occasion as that's a miles greater effective degree. Take me as an occasion if I glided by outfits sizes I woud in no way purchase outfits. I placed on a length 12 yet i'm very curvy and in accordance to sizing charts I might desire to be a length 10 bust, length 8 waist and length sixteen hips! yet I also have a BMI of twenty-two.5 and that i'm toned and that i admire my parent so its all approximately being happy. Love the exterior ur in!

God knows. Last time i was size 14 i was probably aged 14!! Yes you probably will put on more weight, so if you don't want that to happen, you should try and lose some weight before getting pregnant. But ultimately, just enjoy yourself, and your baby.

I wouldn't worry about losing weight. Mabe you just need to change your diet a little. The usual stuff, more fruit and veg, less fatty foods. Also, did you breastfeed? This is the best way of losing weight post-partum. You definitley shouldn't start dieting if you are trying to get pregnant, you baby needs correct nutrition in order to develop properly.
