My boyfriend just told me he loves me with all of his heart and he likes me so much but he doesnt think I would be happy with him. I ask him if he wanted to take a break or just break up but he said no that he loves me and he wants the best for me but he doesnt think he's making me happy but I told him every mintue that I with him or talking to him he makes me very happy and that I wouldnt tray him for eny thing in this world but he doesnt believe me, also he thinks I'm to pretty for him but I dont think thats true.Because to me he's very beautiful and I love him with all my heart. How do I make him realize that.

Well question is does he say he wants to break up with you - like literally use the words. Cause I have had guys tell me that they don't think they deserve me but after a while they catch on though they worry all the time. Best you can do is keep them convinced. But if he does say he wants to break up with you thats exactly it - he is being nice about it.

holly, you are dealing with a guy that is low in his self esttem area.. probably a great guy.. but to sabatougue your own relationship with a beautifull girl... Doh....
any way... ever time he talks like that, take a finger and gently place it on his lips and go.. sshhhhhhh..... and let it end at that.
don't let him talk about it etc... just, finger on his lips... shh, shhh.. and change subject...
he needs to mature up, the more you talk the more he will stay in that mode... he is feeding on your weakness to help him stay weak... hmmmm... interesting.... now break that habit and pump up your man. Remember.. shhhh...shhh... don't want to hear words like that cause it isn't true ... and change the subject...

How naive are you, really? He is spinning you this "I'm not good enough for you" line, but he doesn't mean a word of it. What he really means is "I'm finished with you". Everything else is just him trying to let you down gently. Do him a favour and get the hint already.

Sounds like he has some self-esteem issues. Maybe, when he does something special for you, it might be helpful to let him know. If he keeps feeling this way, he may need to go for counseling to start feeling good about himself.

I agree that it sounds like he has low self-esteem, maybe you should 'show' him how much you love him (and I'm not talking in the bedroom), do a surprise dinner or picnic or something.

sweetie he just has that thought because his selfesteem is low just keep on showing him you love him. prove to him your not to pretty, and that you want him and no one else even if you have to do something totally stupid to get him to realize that you want him for him and you don't want no one but him pamper him some and see where that goes.
