I hate Chelsea so much. I hope Man U give them a right stuffing this weekend.
I'd just like to wish Spurs some good luck for their match tonight!

i thought that at first, but i doubt it. Werder Bremen are 1st on the Bundesliga. I think everyone in Werder just gelled good, and they deserved that victory. Chelsea, tried, but sometimes things dont go ur way. Man U had nothing to gain by losing to Copenhagen, now it looks like Man U may not even progress. Football is a funny game.

Jose Mourinho, whether you love or hate him, is a great tactical manager on and off the pitch. You would never get him to admit he delibrately went out to lose the match, but on the other hand he would want Barca out of the way in case he had to play them again in the later stages.
I think he's asked his players not to play 100% to give the opposition the chance of winning the game, he might admit to that.

i think realistically they were just poor on the night Mourinho is such a big headed, smug bastard that he likes to win all the time!!
although he is also a sneaky bastard,so i wouldn't put it past him to throw the game to eliminate Barca!!
and whatever i don't think Chelski are good enough to win the Champions League anyway...i think they have ridden their luck recently and were very lucky to win the premiership the last 2 years!!

Can Chelsea do anything they try to do on purpose ?
It would be a brave manager who tried to organise a pre-arranged performance level with CFC

Playing too well in group games is not going to win you the CL. It's the knock-outs that count.
The question then is not so much about winning but not losing.

only get a replica of the journey, rapid forward to the outcomes, overlook with regard to the win and watch Rinaldos neglected penalty! That'll wipe the smile off your face. that's until Terry steps up for his penalty and balls all of it up! Then the smile will return, que Van der Sar......oh wait......your nonetheless smiling!
