I saw the Petarded epsidode the yesterday, where Peter is diagnosed as retarded. There was a bit where they all burst into song via phonecalls and I can't stop singing it. I am sure its a parody of another song coz I am sure I have heard it before, but have no idea what it is. Please help!

Song goes something like:

Whats the story,
Morning glory?
Have you heard
Mocking bird

Hello mrs Griffin
Its your neighbour Quagmire
(something, something, something)
(something, something), Oi!

He's retarded, he's retarded (repeated)

Any ideas?! Lol!

Its not the Oasis song Morning Glory. The tune is very quick and upbeat with like a Disney feel to it!

I love that song. I know that it off a musical. According to Wikipedia, the song is a parody of The Telephone Hour from the musical Bye Bye Birdie. You can only see that musical sequence of Petarded on the DVD, and according to Seth MacFarlane, it was cut from the broadcast version of the episode due to censors objecting to the song featuring just about all of Peter's friends (including Death) singing the line "Peter is Retarded!" about 20 times as part of the song's chorus.

It sounds like "Whats the Story Morning Glory" by Oasis.
