Brembo make a thumb operated master cylinder for the back brake but it costs about £2000 and comes with no mounting bracket. AP racing make one - which I use - and costs about £800. Demon Tweeks sell several different types starting at about £300 - but be aware that if you want it for more than cosmetic looks you need to spend the money. It also important to match the master cylinder to the rear caliper - it took me a lot of expensive trial and error to get mine working properly

--Buy a clutch or F brake master cylinder (depending on which thumb you want to use) and use it on the oppisite side of the handle bars. (brake on the L and clutch on the R) so you have to push the lever to activate it.
--Next get a short lever.

--And finally, get an extended brake line.

--If you go with this suggestion, buy the lever for a disc brake and get the master cyl for that lever. Go around to bike shops and check out those model's master cyl for a good size.
