Dear it is one type of engine that right now the whole world drives. whether its two stroke, four stroke petrol or diesel.
But now new advancements will help it make much better. Eg- Manufacturers are now testing solenoid valves. Now even the electric cars with powerful motors are under development. Some people say that electric cars will rule the world and the interna lcombustion engine (ICE) will die. But some say that hybrid is the way to go. Any way just now understand that its the device that helps you if you and makes your life better

It has come a long way since the first ones hit the roads. Todays engines far out perform the originals. I think there will be some amazing improvements in the next ten years as well. Changes in design of intake and exhaust, placement of injectors and even size and shape of pistons will change as will the materials the engine and parts are made of. There is much research on ceramic engine blocks and parts. Just wait and see what is invented, I am certain it will amaze you....

It is basically a difficult device to operate/maintain and fuels are costly as well as the enviromental impact to wit.....the upside is they arent short of power and are widely available...there are 5 main systems to an I.C.E....the electric motor is far more desirable in my opinion...IC engines are becoming out dated..
