I believe they could feel a little intimidated because you come on too strong to them with over self-confidence. They may have the stereo type that all African males only want to engage in a relationship to have sex and sex only. Just take a look at the hip-hop world. You always see a rapper or some other artist dancing around with scantly dressed women; not that there isn't anything wrong with that but it's just how people are perceived that distinguishes people's personal opinions. That perception is projected to other people and the stereo type is that the only thing African males want is sex. Have you taken a good look at the hip hop, R&B and rap culture? A majority of their songs, performances, etc. talk nothing but about sex. It could also be your style of dress that you take on. Trying to dress and look like the rappers, hip hop, R&B artists on TV could also turn them off. Dressing like that will most likely turn on a light saying "I'm a player and I'm looking for sex only" type of relationship. If you do dress like that, maybe you should consider to dress differently so other women will see that you are approachable. How you dress will determine how people perceive you. You wouldn't dress in a white t-shirt and jeans going to a job interview. You would have a better chance being in a suit and tie. Well, this is the best advice I can give you.

Its not that Asian girls/men do not like Africans - its just that they have created such a hype around themselves which makes all think each of these Africans are scamsters ( read 419rs - as they are called ). It does not matter from which country they come from but their looks are clubbed into one and thats the way one thinks about all Africans.

I'm Asian and I'm married to a Black man. But I can understand where you're coming from. When I was single, there were some other Black men who hit on me, but I said no because I didn't like they way they approached me. They came on way too strong and seemed like they were only interested in sex. But there were also White guys who were like that, and Hispanic, and Asian. All you have to do is treat a girl with respect and interest to get her to talk to you. Just don't treat her like a piece of meat.

Asians do no longer date races any diverse than Caucasians or Africans. it surely relies upon on the guy. many of the time human beings prefer to maintain interior their own race, yet human beings flow into others each and all the time.

You mean "African-American"? I don't think that's necessarily true. I'm mixed Asian/Caucasion and I'm engaged to an African-American guy.

Generally speaking, they come on a little too strong for my taste. I find it really cute when a guy is a little bit shy when trying to pick up on a girl. Most black guys seem so confident when they try to pick you up and it's a bit intimidating.

I don't think that there's any descrimination there. I heard from a few of my girl friends saying that African guyz are rough in bed (sexually verrry active). They are quite uneasy on that..

Personally, I think that they(asian girls) may think that all the African guyz think of is sex - well, its not my opinion.
