I am ttc and am due for my period in about 3 days. I ovulated on the 13th. Took a test yesterday afternoon and it was negative. Today, I have some very light spotting (when wiping). Could this be implantation bleeding or am I just holding on to hope??

Depends...If you are not used to this type of period. It could be...but since you got a neg. preg test..I would not get my hopes up too much. There is the chance the test is wrong. If you want to be preg. I hope you are. Good luck sweetie...oh and check out babycenter.com it explains it better thats where I think I read about it a while back....b/c someone else had a similar question....oh and implantation bleeding occurs when your period is due....

Yes, it could be implantation bleeding-which occurs a couple of days before your expected period. If you don't need a tampon or pad-that is a good sign!
Btw-don't bother testing until you are late for your period. Most of the time people who test too early get a false negative result.
