I think tears also related to joy and happiness as well :o)

its not the responce to every living body, some people are just so hard , they don't do it and if they do its so rear, i think when one crys ,it kind of reduces the tension within and makes the person or the living body a little better, it works for me the minute i am through with crying ,i am ok. basically, it was created in every living body and it has to be used.

crying or sheading tears is a physical response to high amounts of primal emotion, or physical pain. Nobody has proven the exact reason why we cry but we do know that some other mammals cry. we also know that the chemical make-up of tears from emotion and tears from pain is different.

Tears show everything.Tears relieve the stress and it is outburst of anxiety ,happiness when any other medium to communicate fails,Tears say it all

I think because 75% of our body is made of water. And thank god it is only water that comes out in form of tears. How would you feel if blood or some other liquid would flow instead of water.........horrible ........tears are the best.
