Over 60K people experienced this at once. The children were told by The Blessed Virgin Mary to appear at certain days and times, so yes, this was divinely done by God and the Blessed Virgin and that ground where it happened is sacred and curative.

it would indeed be an impressive sight. there would be many who had no doubt this was a Religious experience and yet there may be some who were cynical and skeptical yet persuaded otherwise because of the pressure from their peers.

I would say so, if not frightening to people who imagined the end of the world. I'd say there was no doubt to its witnesses that it was divinely orchestrated.
