Actually the Indian plight is that it has only two batsmen: Tendulkar and Dravid. Tendulkar is on the slide. India must play atleast 6 batsmen. Raina, Kaif, Jaffer and Mongia are just pushovers. Technically very poor. Pathan could be played as a batsman.
Laxman, Ganguly, Gambhir should join the team. Actually Vengsarkar and Greg want good fielders not batsmen. Hopeless attitude.
A great follower of the game, like me, has started missing the telecast and instead I watch matches wherein India does not figure.

Things are not going to improve even if Ganguly comes back to the team as considering his poor form in the recent past he will not be able to do anything to change the fortune of the team..

I think returning Ganguly is a must. The earlier the better for Team India. And with an envious record as captain, he must be made the captain too.

Absolutely Ganguly has to return with captaincy.I havent seen him for a longer time.Its amazing to see him in the ground with those blistering square cuts through off side and those sixes sthraight over the head of spinners. Ganguly I am praying All gods for your return.

Saurav Ganguly should have been in the team a long time back. If there is further delay he should be brought in as the national coach of the team

I can say that instead of Suresh raina, Ganguly can be fitted. His spot is so weak and that is the spot where team needs some lifting. ganguly can take his place. he has some bowling also. fielding will be a quiet problem. lets request him to field a bit. we can add some more experience to the team.

Yes Ravi, I am sure it is time for Ganguly to come back to the team and boost up our boys......
He is one of the best captain with luck sticking to him always.......Although India would lose in all finals,atleast it had the capacity to move till the finals..but now? We did not even move to the semi-finals in the Champions trophy....
I hope dada would bring back our team with full confidence if he was selected by the BCCI...! Lets hope for the best!!

Ganguly's return will not solve the problem. The problem starts at grassroot level. I don't think at the present stage any change of players will not serve the purpose. Instead change the attitude of the players.
