If you're using nair products (which I don't reccomend, most people are highly allergic to them), then I suggest you make sure the area you are waxing has not been recently washed. Sometimes, if it has or if I feel quite clean, I put blush on the area, then I wax. I don't leave it on any longer than the minimum time. Also, Do not repeat the application more than one time; take hours in between at the least, unless you can space it out within a day. After; if there is extra hair, if you are waxing your eyebrows, use tweezers.

If possible, I wax in the evening so that any lotion I may have put on will have dissipated.
Also, use talc! For some reason, it helps the wax adhere better to the hair and avoids leaving residue on the skin... it also makes removal of the strips easier. I've been waxing for quite awhile and just figured this out... it really helps. That said, I use the fully removable wax and not the kind you remove with cotton strips.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
