Watchingand listen to english movies, english songs and english news carefully. News do help coz there are onscreen happenings going on to help understand what is said. Take help of some grammer class and keep a dictionary.....in starting -to-English and then later English-to-English.
In starting you might not understand anything but later you will.

See man I m a Language trainer and what i feel is no language is hard to learn u can learn English by following these simple tips...

1. Learn vocabulary in phrases or sentences, not in single words.

2. Try not to translate everything to and from Hindi. If you cannot think of an English word, do not immediately use a Hindi-English dictionary. Try to express what you want to say or write in very simple Hindi, and then put this into English, using words which you already know. (We will practice this in class!)

3. Read passages which you already understand several times, trying to understand them in English, without translating them into Hindi.

4. Talk to yourself in English rather than in Hindi. For example, if the weather is cold, say to yourself 'It's cold today!'.

5. Listen to English as much as possible.

A decade ago to learn English, you had to attend costly English classes or purchase course material like tapes and books. Now you can learn English for free from the comfort of your home using the Internet. The BBC and the British Council offer a number of on line courses, which teach written and spoken English. You can also improve your English by watching television programs and reading English newspapers. For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/qnzpt

Just start answering some of the questions here and before submitting click on the Check Spelling. Grammatical mistakes are commonly found while both speaking and writing.

It would be better if you start speaking with persons more near to you with a high command over his english. You would naturally be tempted to follow his slang. But by practise you would change to a different accent for yourself, days later, someone else may admire you.

The easiest way is to cultivate interest in the language.Well, some people learn faster by looking at visual forms, some by hearing, some by sense of touch and some by sense of smell. It depends on your character.By visual form, you should be able to learn better as you have a clear image of what the thing looks like.

english is the hardest language to learn. its not just the words its all in HOW you say them. and with so many words that are the same but have diff. meanings, ( not even counting the slang) the only way to really learn english is to immerse yourself in groups of people that are comfortable with it and you will progressively learn more and more. good luck to you!
